Our commitment
TechFortress wants everyone to be able to use this website and the TechFortress client portal, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or other assistive technology.
The standard we work to
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That covers, among other things: text contrast of at least 4.5:1, form fields whose edges can be seen, a visible focus outline on everything you can reach with the keyboard, labels on every form control, error messages that screen readers announce, and respect for your device's reduced-motion setting.
Conformance status: partially conformant. Most of this site and the client portal meet WCAG 2.2 AA. The exceptions we know about are listed below.
What this statement covers
- This website, techfortress.ai.
- The TechFortress client portal, portal.techfortress.ai, where clients follow their projects, choose a presentation's look, review and approve deliverables, and share files.
Files we produce for a client, such as presentations and documents, are made to that project's specification. If you need a deliverable in an accessible format, tell us at the start of the project and we will agree what that means for your files.
How we check
- Every screen of the client portal is scanned with the axe accessibility engine in our automated tests, and a change that introduces a violation cannot pass.
- Our colour palette is measured against the WCAG contrast ratios in the same tests.
- Before a release we check the portal by keyboard alone, with a screen reader, at 200% and 400% zoom, in Windows high-contrast mode, and with reduced motion turned on.
Known limitations
- Sign-in. The portal's sign-in screens are provided by our identity provider, Clerk. We check them, but we don't control their markup. If signing in doesn't work for you, contact us and we will help you get access.
- Slide preview. When you choose a presentation's colours in the portal, the preview shows exactly what you picked, even if it is hard to read. The portal tells you in words when a combination is too faint, and won't let you submit it.
- Older pages. Some pages on this site predate this review. We fix problems as we find them, and we'll prioritise any you report.
Report a barrier or ask for another format
If something on this site or in the portal doesn't work for you, please tell us. Include the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you use, if you know it.
- Email info@techfortress.ai
- Or use the contact page
A person at TechFortress reads every report. We will reply, and we will tell you what we are doing about it.
